As a part of empowering women farmers, Srijan Foundation held a 5-day camp in different panchayats. They included Khyra, Kariyatpur, Mangura, Dariya, Dadha, Jharpo and Devkuli. CRPI and CM educated women farmers on the harmful effect of using pesticides on crops and solutions for protection. The trainer, Mr. Dayal Kumar, recommended Barrix Catch Fruit Fly Traps and Barrix Magic Stickers from Barrix Agro Sciences as low cost alternative to harmful pesticides and said their use would help get rid of the pesticide-related problems and would save the money spent on unnecessary pesticide usage.
