Barrix Agro Sciences has been recognized as TIME India startup innovator for the year, as it helps India’s farmers uses non-chemical means to fight pests.
The award was received by Mr. Lokesh Makam, CEO and Managing Director and Chacochan Muller, Head – Sales and Marketing through Shri Chandra Babu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh, and Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Time Inc. vice chairman Norman Pearlstine had announced the winners at a ceremony on Jan. 27 at the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Partnership Summit in Andhra Pradesh state.
“Time Inc. is pleased to recognize the eight world-class manufacturing companies that have won the 2017 TIME India Awards in presence of wards for their innovation and excellent financial results,” said Pearlstine.
